Services
We meet at 10 am Sunday mornings at East West University (first three Sundays of every month) and online (remaining Sundays). Services usually go until about 11:30 and generally consist of three to four songs (usually a combination of traditional and contemporary hymns), times of prayer, interactive liturgies, scripture reading, sermon and communion.
Communion
All are welcome to participate in our weekly celebration of the Lord’s Supper. Most Sundays walk up to the front of the room and take a piece of bread from an elder, who will say “The body of Christ, broken for you,” We then dip the bread in the cup offered by the next elder, who will say “The blood of Christ, shed for you”. You are welcome to respond with “Thanks be to God” if you wish.
Nursery
Our current worship space has some limitations, so we’ve had to be creative when it comes to our nursery space. On Sunday mornings there are usually a few babies playing on the floor towards the front of the room, and there is usually a teacher’s lounge available to take a break, feed kiddos, etc.
Transportation
East West University is located a short walk from the Roosevelt red line stop, as well as the 6 bus and the 147 bus.
Paid street parking is available around East West, and parking is free on Sundays south of Roosevelt.
We also recommend biking as an environmentally friendly way to get to church (at least in the warmer months!) Loop is located close to the Lakeshore trail, which provides a safe and beautiful ride from many neighborhoods.
