Loop Church has three missional focus areas that provide a way to meet in small groups and tackle, through discussion and action, some of the big issues that concern us as Christians, church members, and citizens of our city and country.
environmental Stewardship
We are a focused on working towards justice and stewardship in advocating for issues related to the care of our environment. This relates to climate change issues, pollution, water quality, and renewable energy.
Welcoming the stranger
We desire to further Christ’s kingdom through actively loving our neighbors, specifically through relationships with and advocacy for refugees and immigrants.
anti-racism
We believe that racism is an issue that deeply impacts systems, structures, institutions, and worldviews. We commit to interrogating (and dismantling) the ways in which the church privileges whiteness in the spaces it creates, policies it holds, and people it empowers.
