Rev. Derek Elmi-Buursma
Pastor Derek is a graduate of McCormick Theological Seminary and has been serving as the Pastor of Loop Church since January 2019. Derek has been living-in and loving-on Chicago since 2015 when he and partner Deqa moved to the city from Accra, Ghana to attend seminary. Together they live in Hyde Park and enjoy going spending time by the Lake as a family.
